ResQraft

SAF38006
12 man flood raft available with removeable transom
Colours: Red/Black
The ResQraft has been developed in conjunction with The Fire and Rescue Service for use in floodwater situations where evacuation of casualties demands a craft that has minimum draft, maximum capacity and ease of use. The raft can easily carry 12 people whilst being guided by Rescue personnel.
The filling of the raft is carried out by connecting the filler hose to a BA bottle and by inserting the other end into the inflate/deflate valves in the bow. The rear chambers will automatically fill with air as the bow chambers reach 1 psi. Allow the pressure in both sides to increase until the pressure relief valves (prv) in the rear start to blow off air.
Repeat the filling procedure for the floor, the floor chamber will fill and the prv will release air once the correct pressure has been reached. The raft can be topped up with air as and when required.
There is a towing bridal attached to the front of the ResQraft for situations where the raft is to be towed by a boat.
Optional addition is the fitting of a removable transom at the rear, which will allow a 15HP short shaft engine to propel the raft.
